K.H.A Dahlan Mosque
Located in the center of UMY’s integrated building to facilitate access to worship, the mosque also functions as a public space for learning, discussion and student activity meetings
It is absolute for Islamic universities to have adequate facilities for their communities to carry out worship routines as best they can, this is what UMY initiated by establishing the K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque on an area of 5400 m2 as the center of activities and Islamic activities, to support the improvement of the mentality and personality of the academic community of UMY towards the lives of civilians. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque, consisting of 3 floors, has a congregation capacity of more than 15 thousand people.
To support sports activities, there is a Futsal, Tennis, Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball Field located in the beautiful campus environment of UMY.
The open sports field is one of the facilities provided by UMY to complete physical facilities that can support a variety of extra activities and by the body for students and academics. The field, which is located on the northern unit of the UMY campus, is also used by various parties, especially the community around UMY in organizing large scale events, besides that the field used as an exhibition arena and the Mukatamar Muhammadiyah Bazaar for a century is also a joint training center for Hisbul Wathan Football School. Plaza and Bintang Field
An octagonal star shape and a typical landmark of UMY. The star field is the center of activity for the student community.
A very artistic depiction of the eight star symbol, which was also used by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta as a symbol of the establishment of Islam and gave a broad meaning to the value of the Islamic da’wah it was carrying. The ideals of Islamic da’wah distributed from UMY campus, both lecturers, students and their alumni lead to eight cardinal directions, so this star field is expected to inspire the UMY campus community to continue to uphold and foster Islamic values wherever they are. This star field is used for organizing campus out door activities such as exhibitions, bazaars, sports arenas or community activities around the campus such as the prayer of Fitri and Eid al-Adha.
IT Based Parking
Parking access with student and employee cards at two gates and parking areas scattered near the lecture building
On the campus of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, facilities for the convenience of vehicle owners to park their vehicles are very much considered in accordance with the existing security standards, so that sufficient land for four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles to adjust the layout that is designed including driving regulations and sanctions for motorists who park the vehicle in any place.
In addition to paying attention to the factors of safety and comfort in parking the vehicle as above, the distance to the building area is designed in such a way that it is not too far away and the area of shaded parking area is certainly a comfort in itself.
Each class on the UMY campus is equipped with air conditioning and class layout that flexibly adapts learning activities such as lectures, group discussions and presentations. for the delivery of multimedia-based lecture material provided by the LCD Screen and Sound System
The UMY Library provides various references in the form of books, a thesis in the field of study which also includes reading and multimedia rooms.

At present two laboratories have been established, namely: Banking Practice and Computer Statistics Laboratory. In order to improve service to students, in 1998 a Local Area Network (LAN) network system was built. In addition, UMY always updates and adds computer facilities owned along with the development of needs and technology.
To facilitate students in conducting banking transactions on campus, UMY provides bank counters provided by BRI Bank, Mandiri Syariah Bank, Bank Bukopin, Sharia BPD, and others. In addition, ATM facilities are also available around the campus where the network is connected to the ATM Bersama network.
Internet and Hotspot Area
In supporting the learning process, Wi-Fi facilities are available that can be accessed in all campus areas, e-mail and blogs as a means of communication and sharing references.
To improve data access and scientific journals as well as access to other information for academics, FAI UMY has provided internet facilities for hot spots and wired internet facilities in all classrooms and other strategic places on campus.
Located under Bintang Field, this food court provides various food booths. Equipped with wifi and a place to eat chairs or lesehan that is open every day from 08.00-16.00.
The canteen for students and staff located on the west side of the FAI UMY campus provides a variety of food and drinks at affordable prices for students.
